Two recent roof installations in the Romsey area. New composite concrete roof tiles, mechanically fixed ridges, and uPVC verge caps.

Moss growth between the joints of tiles or slates causes rain water to be retained instead of draining away. This can seep under the roof covering and cause rot in the roof support timbers. Periodic power washing a roof will prolong roof life.
