FLAT ROOFS
We repair and replace flat roofs using EPDM rubber, 3-ply felt or GRP (glassfibre).
EPDM, FELT, GRP
We can repair or replace flat roofs in EPDM Firestone Rubber, 3-ply felt or Glass Reinforced Polyester. Each option has its advantages and disadvanatges. We will be pleased to advise.
PITCHED ROOFS
We repair and replace pitched roofs in clay or concrete tile and slate.
TILE or SLATE
Slate options include: Welsh or Spanish natural slate or artifical composite slate.
Concrete composite tiles are available in flat or Roman pan tile profiles. Interlocking profile tiles give the tiles a thinner appearance and so are used as an inexpensive alternative to natural slate.
It is important when swapping from slate to tile or when changing the type of tiles to consider how this may change the roof loading. For example tiles usually weigh more than slates.
THERMAL INSULATION
If you are thinking of repairing or replacing a leaking roof now is the time to add extra thermal insulation. The cost will be more than repaid in the savings on your heating bill.
